History of NHL

The National Hockey League was established in 1917 in Montreal, Canada. Initially including just Canadian-based groups, the association fanned out to the United States during the 1920s. The NHL would experience a significant development again during The 1960s, multiplying from six teams to 12 with the expansion of the Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, St.

 Louis Blues, Minnesota North Stars and California Seals. The group has kept on extending since and now includes a sum of 31 groups crosswise over North America. Twenty-four groups are situated in the US, while seven hail from north of the fringe.
